How to build The Collector
Helpful hints
Here's some helpful hints for the bits some people get stuck on.
Use the long end of the Hex key first and make sure you push hard. Once the screw ‘bites’ and gets hard to turn, switch it and use the short end for more leverage. It’s ok if they go in at an angle as once they’re tightened, they should straighten up.
You may have put the post into the wrong hole in the bottom of the door. We have a handy guide to help you get this sorted!
Start with the two furthest holes, put the screws in and tighten them half way. Then do the other two, keeping them loose too. Once they are all in, you can tighten them up and the bracket should pull into place and help to square off the locker.
You may have screwed this on a little too tight. Slightly loosen the two screws holding it on, this should help.
Make sure you have put the washers on the bottom door posts first, as this helps even out the gaps. If there are still gaps, it will be because the floor is a little uneven. Use the adjustable feet to get the locker nice and level.
