Hello, we’re Mustard and we make colourful furniture designed to bring joy to everyday spaces.
We’re a growing, design-led brand selling direct to customers around the world, alongside an expanding B2B channel.
As we’ve grown, so has the pace and complexity of the business, and we’re now looking for the right person to help bring greater clarity, coordination and support to our Australian leadership team.
This role will work closely with our Australian-based directors and leadership team, while also helping keep things connected with our UK-based team.

The Role
Mustard is looking for an Executive Assistant to support our Australian-based directors and leadership team across a mix of business, coordination and light personal support.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and thoughtful, and who enjoys helping senior stakeholders work well together.
You’ll play an important part in keeping priorities clear, communication flowing and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
You’ll spend much of your time coordinating schedules, managing inboxes and follow-ups, supporting key meetings and helping create simple systems that make life and work feel more manageable.
You’ll also support the Australian office with onboarding coordination, office operations and general admin, while working closely with our UK team on broader people processes.

What you’ll be doing
Support communication, coordination and priorities
- Support communication and follow-through across AU and UK teams
- Prepare for key meetings, including agendas, notes and action tracking
- Help create structure around weekly priorities and commitments, keep priorities clear across the Australian leadership team
Manage diaries, inboxes and task flow
- Coordinate diaries and meeting scheduling across multiple stakeholders, bringing a calm, organised approach to day-to-day coordination
- Help manage inboxes in a practical and thoughtful way, creating simple systems for what needs to be read, responded to or revisited
- Keep Trello and task lists current, clear and actionable, helping to make sure important actions are picked up at the right time
Support life admin and travel coordination
- Coordinate travel and logistics for work and personal commitments
- Help with family calendar coordination, appointments, general life admin and practical household organisation where needed
- Support during busier periods with thoughtful, flexible assistance
Support the Australian office
- Coordinate office needs, including supplies, purchases and repairs
- Manage communication with the office rental agency
- Help keep the office environment organised, welcoming and running smoothly
Support onboarding and people coordination
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new starters in Australia
- Support managers with setup tasks such as systems, Trello boards and first-week planning
- Be a friendly point of contact for new starters in the AU office
- Support development plan cycles with scheduling, reminders and coordination
- Work closely with the UK-based People + HR team, who manage contracts and formal HR processes
Hello, is it you we’re looking for?
You likely have several years’ experience in an Executive Assistant or senior coordination role, supporting busy stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You are:
- Highly organised and proactive
- Warm, calm and confident in the way you work
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
- A strong communicator with good judgment
- Naturally discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
- Able to build strong working relationships across different teams, working styles, personalities and neurotypes
- Comfortable using digital tools and systems to stay organised
- Happy working across a mix of business support, people coordination and personal admin
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience in a growing business where priorities can shift quickly
- Enjoy bringing structure to busy environments in a practical, low-fuss way
