How to Style: Blush
The perfect pink for every style from Scandi neutrals to Barbiecore, Blush is our forever colour crush!
We may be Mustard by name, but Blush holds a place very close to our hearts. In fact, she was one of the very first colours we launched with (and it's no coincidence that we love her paired with Mustard.) Thanks to her soft grey undertones, Blush works like a colour chameleon. In a neutral-styled space she warms up tones of grey, cream and white and looks effortlessly beautiful with natural textures like timber and linen. Yet, pair her with bold tones like Berry, Poppy or Olive, and you might be surprised at how these vivid shades bring out her colour and personality!
"Blush is like the colour version of a neutral. She goes with everything!" – Becca
Here are three of our favourite ways to style this pop of pastel pink.
Â
Blush on Blush
We're big fans of a colour drenching moment, and if you're new to the trend or nervous about decorating a whole room in one colour, Blush is the perfect place to start! Subtle enough that you can go big without feeling overpowered, Blush on Blush is soft, warm and inviting. The beauty of Blush is that even if you have a few different Blush tones, they layer beautifully together to create a pink paradise. This colour works perfectly in a dreamy bedroom, or take your inspo from Mustard HQ and think pink for your office space!
Â
mixed Berry
If you've got a thing for ombre, welcome to the club! Pair Berry and Blush with Chalk for pink gradient perfection. Or, let Berry and Blush stand alone for a pop of pink that's bright and bold (but not too loud!) Add a little touch of Berry to a Blush-toned room to give it a lift, or let Blush soothe the spiciness of a zingy Berry feature wall.
Â
pink + pastel
She's the princess of pastels, so it's no surprise that Blush is right at home in a lineup with Lilac, Sage and Ocean. Blush and Lilac make for a sweet pair, while Blush and Sage creates a nature-inspired vibe (just add trailing plants and voila!) Style these four in any combination and you've got yourself a recipe for a soothing, comforting space that just about whispers 'come on in and relax…'
