Styled by you: nursery edition
In the mood for some nesting? The nursery is the perfect space to set your imagination free!
Whether you're welcoming your very first bub or making room for your newest addition to join the family, creating their nursery is a sweet and special moment. We love seeing so many of our lockers being chosen to style nurseries in pretty and practical ways – our favourite combination! From a wardrobe brimming with tiny clothes to a book nook for bedtime stories or a changing station, lockers have baby's needs all sorted. Let's see how our community cut the Mustard with lockers for their littlest ones!
bright eyes
Poppy | @letsgotopoppys
If you ever needed proof that nurseries can be fun + fabulous, look no further than Poppy's colourful haven! The Lilac Twinny makes for a cute wardrobe as well as a pop of pastel against the coral paint and accent cushions. The best bit? While bub will eventually outgrow that adorable onesie (heartbreaking!) the locker will hold her things for years to come.
bread + Butter
Raffaela | @raffaela.sofia
Earthy neutrals make this light-filled nursery a calm, soothing space – but that pop of sunshine, in the form of a Butter Shorty, really brightens the day! The Shorty is the perfect bedside bestie, ready to stash all the bits and pieces that can quickly clutter up a nursery. When the cot makes way for a big boy bed, The Shorty will snuggle in right beside it.
must be Mustard
Cass | @our.home.le.fleur
Cass knows how to strike the perfect balance between colourful and calming. Her Midi in Mustard adds a bold focal point for the soft sage panelling and natural timber cot. With the cutest scattering of rainbow decals to tie it all together, we'd like to volunteer for nap time in here too, please!
baby Blush
Lisa | @bornandbredstudio
When Mustard's co-founder Jess was dreaming up Poppy's nursery, she enlisted the help of Lisa from Born & Bred studio to bring it to life. The result is a vintage-inspired nursery that plays up the room's beautiful original features (hello fireplace!) The Lowdown in Blush is the perfect fit for this little nook, ready to store Poppy's toys when playtime is done for the day. With its nice low top, The Lowdown makes a great surface to display favourite toys – once bub is ready to stand, they can reach their things all by themselves!
sunshine Skinny
Judith | @joelixjoelix
Baby Tobey's nursery is a warm, zingy space that's as colourful as it is cool. With the pops of yellow and Mustard and the sherbert-toned details, this sweet space is fun – but it's also super functional. The Skinny is the perfect storage solution for those tight corners or rooms with limited floor space. With the adjustable shelving inside, there's room for whatever you're stashing, from nappies to baby clothes and beyond.
double trouble
Erin | @thedarlingassembly
They say blue and green should never be seen, which makes us so very glad that Erin is a rule-breaker. This combo of Ocean + Olive Shortys looks a dream in her combined nursery and kids space, dividing the room without cutting into the space. Multifunctional is the Shorty's middle name. It's a bedside table, bookshelf, toy tidy, treasure-keeper and their very own secret spot to stash their favourite things. With a key to keep it all secure, there are no sibling squabbles here! A set of Baskets is the perfect finishing touch to keep the outsides of the lockers just as spick and span as the insides.
Twinny for one
Soph | @renov8teen
For such little creatures, babies can come with a whole lot of stuff! If you've got stuff to stash, our biggest locker is up to the task. Soph chose The Twinny in Sage for her classic nursery, and the colour complements this gentle, joyful space perfectly. This soft green-grey is gender-neutral and timeless. Inspired by nature, Sage is a lovely match for natural tones like timber and rattan, making it the ideal choice for a subtle pop of colour.
